Switch on the Holidays – 5pm in Downtown Boulder
This free event will provide plenty of fun for the holidays. It’s an annual event perfect for the entire family. You will enjoy watching Santa count down to the grand illumination of the Pearl Street Mall and the Courthouse. Along with the lights, the Fairview High drum corps and Snowplow Sam will be on hand. Holiday ice skating will also be available from 6:30pm to 10pm at the Ice Rink at One Boulder Plaza.
St. Nick on the Bricks – 11am – 2pm Visitors Information Center
This event is great for the entire family and will provide plenty of fun. It will run from November 29th to December 21st. Kids can enjoy a visit with Santa and will also have the chance to ask for the things on their Christmas list. Moms and Dads can get the picture they want of their child with Santa, as well.
Lights of December Parade – 6pm
The parade is one of the favorites of Boulder locals and provides plenty of fun. This will be the 26th annual Lights of December Parade with plenty of floats from businesses and local groups. Bring the entire family and enjoy the entire event.
Even though the parade won’t start until 6pm, you can show up a little early for shopping and dining. You can also stay late to enjoy both or for a nightcap after the parade.
Parade entries are full, which means you will get to enjoy a full parade. Make sure you get a great spot for viewing all the awesome floats. You can check the parade route here, http://www.boulderdowntown.com/_files/docs/map_2013-lights-of-december-parade.pdf.
