Three Boulder Events Perfect for Holiday Fun

Boulder has plenty of events on the schedule for the holiday season. Finding the right one for you isn’t always easy. Maybe you need a family-friendly event or maybe you prefer one just for adults. There are plenty to choose from throughout the area. Here are three of the most popular events coming up in Boulder, Colorado.

Firefly Handmade Holiday Market

Held from December 6th to the 8th, this event will provide plenty of holiday fun. It will start with the lighting of Pearl Street and continue with this prime holiday shopping event. For three days, you can visit 90 different vendors to find the best handmade crafts for the holiday season.

This event will be held at 1600 Pearl Street, which is the old Borders Book Store. Admission is $3 for ages 13 and up with 12 and under getting in free. A portion of the proceeds will go to support Open Arts.

Come out to the Firefly Handmade Holiday Market on Friday from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Twofold Holiday Pop-up Show

From December 6th to December 12th come out and shop for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. The merchants here will feature textiles, accessories and more from top designers, such as Niki Jones, Suki Cheema, Stitch x Stitch and many others. This event will be held at Fabricate, which is located at 2023 17th Street.

25 Days of Grinch-mas Holiday Storytime Featuring the Grinch

Tuesday, December 17th at 11am, the Boulder Book Store, located at 1107 Pearl Street will feature a holiday storytime reading of the popular book, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It will be held upstairs in the ballroom and this event will be free of charge.

Whether you want to bring the kids out for the reading of a very popular Christmas book or you prefer to shop at one of the best holiday markets in the area, you can find plenty of events to enjoy throughout the season in Boulder.
